Lost in the forest black while on the hunt for food.
The sun now begins to set.
We’ll be in the darkness soon.
I have heard tales of this place meant to fill men with dread.
For nights when the moon is full, here mortals shall not tread.
Growls in the distance fill every man with fear.
Frantic, they flee into darkness.
Everyone disappears.
Gurgling screams.
The sounds of ravaging flesh.
Beasts growing ever closer.
The sound of impending death.
I turn to look behind me.
What do I see?
Amber eyes burn through my soul.
The beast grabs hold of me.
Thrown to the forest floor.
Bloodthirsty hounds.
Teeth rip my throat away.
By claws, I’m disemboweled.
Creatures fight over my flesh.
While I am fed upon.
This story I tell to you from the grave beyond.

Open your eyes. Breathe in the putrid air.
You look around. Dead bodies everywhere.
How did you end up in this place?
Are you in hell, or is this some twisted test?
You must escape or you will breathe your final breath.
Now your heart is racing.
You feel so confused.
You begin to panic.
You don’t know what to do.
Bleh!

You find a door to make your way out of the room.
Look down the black hallway.
You must escape this hellish tomb.
Now you make your way through darkness.
You hear the sounds of madness lurking in the dark.
A sound so frightening it steals the air and chills your heart.
You’re frozen - by fear.

You try to run,
but you find it hard to move.
You just can't seem to win.
Maybe you were meant to lose.
Now it feels like you are sinking.
Moving so slow.
Feels like you are stuck in mud.
You light a match and see
that you are waste deep in blood.
Now your heart is racing.
You feel so confused.
You begin to panic.
You don’t know what to do.
Bleh!

Frozen by fear.
Now you feel the demon’s breath.
You’ve given up,
accepting of your brutal death.
You are ripped and torn to shreds.
Now you live again.
Right back where it all began.
Dead bodies everywhere.
Will the nightmare ever end?
You live to die.
You die to live again.

The demon’s mark was bestowed to me
on the night of my birth.
Born and raised to kill humanity.
The living plague of the earth.
The nameless one reached out for me,
and puts me into the dark.
It hears my cry for immortality.
There’s so much work to be done.
On the night of the sanguine moon
my newfound power is gained.
Eternal death for eternal life.
Eternal blood in my veins.
Trapped and hunted down by men of god.
I’ve been taken alive.
The final judgment for my life of sin
is I’ve been sentenced to die.
When they attempt to take my life away,
my secret’s finally revealed.
No matter what they do,
burned, hung, or ripped in two,
I can never be killed.
A coffin made of silver.
Covered in ancient scripture.
Now I am gagged and bound.
Never to be found.
Locked in eternal darkness.
Alive but dead forever.
Buried in the ground
never to be found.
Never to be found.
When they attempt to take my life away,
My secret’s finally revealed.
No matter what they do,
burned, hung, or ripped in two,

where a beast is said to dwell.
It wears a coat as white as virgin winter snow.
Crowned with a single horn that reaches to the sky.
Creature of light is what it's said to be.
Love and light is all it knows.
Lured by innocence, it comes to me.
Attracted by the scent of purity.
In the blink of an eye, the beast lashes out.
